COMMISSIONING ARTWORK
Commissioning an artwork is simple: I can paint something for any space you might have, large or small. I can customise an existing print during the hand finishing process to your specifications. I can create a piece of fine art jewellery for you, using precious metals and stones. I can work in collaboration with your brand to create bespoke designs based on a brief or multiple pieces for a larger project. See examples of previous projects in the gallery below.
Join me as I guide you through the process of creative enquiry and we work together to produce a personal piece of ‘inimitable alchemical style’.
How to commission
- Contact me using the contact form on my website, by email or by phone.
- Have an idea of; the size which you would like, the budget you are looking to invest, your preferred timeline and the names of any of my previous pieces that have caught your eye.
- Other information you may want to share is your reason for commissioning, the colours you are attracted to, any other elements of the painting that you can see in your mind’s eye.
- Don’t worry if you’re not sure we can chat about all this, with no obligation to commission, in whatever way you feel most comfortable - in person, on the phone or via email.
- Quotation time - I’ll draw up a quote and send it on over to you - see what you think and if it doesn’t fit your budget we can talk again.
- Next it's time to pay a 30% deposit - I’ll draw up an invoice for you and send it over, clearly explained, this will formalise the agreement. The remainder becomes due once your piece is complete and ready to be delivered, or you to collect.
- I will then complete some sketches and gather some visual material to send over to you - I can email and we can create a Canva moodboard together.
- We can discuss again, and I’ll develop some Inkling studies before I start on the final piece.
- I’ll keep you up to date with progress during the stages of creation with photos and videos - the time it takes to complete a commission varies depending on its complexity, medium and size.
- We can discuss framing, install and delivery at any stage, and I will provide you with a separate quote - you can, of course, arrange these things yourself.
- Don’t hesitate to ask questions along the way

As Above So Below
Original painting commission. 180 x 90 cm. Ink, watercolour, bleach and gold leaf on raw canvas framed in walnut
"We are absolutely blown away by the impact this wonderful piece of art has had in our room. Our expectations were high when we met with Hannah at the planning stage and talked through the size and style we were looking for. She kept us well informed throughout the process and gave us the opportunity to have an input into the final product. The finished article though is well beyond our expectations with so much detail but creating an enormous impression. You are a very talented artist Hannah."

Litha.
Original commissioned painting. 180 x 90 cm. Ink, watercolour, bleach and marbled silver leaf on raw canvas framed in walnut
‘I can not thank you enough for your creative genius in producing my amazing painting ‘Litha’. Expressing how you truly have produced exactly what I needed, is incredibly hard to find the words. I have loved how every day I find something new in it. How it changes throughout the day and night bringing different depths to it. Everyone comments on it whenever they are in the room. It has brought the whole area a warmth and depth I didn’t believe could be possible. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
