SomeWear Jewellery

Each Some Wear contains a unique original painting by the artist Hannah Pugh.

They are painted onto heavyweight cartridge paper using inks and bleach which react spontaneously and unpredictably as colours dispel and scatter, transgressing their initial boundaries. These miniature ‘inklings’ are then worked into once dry with layers of 24 carat gold leaf and marbled silver, producing miniature somewheres for you to wear.

The paintings are then mounted beneath a glass cabochon using diamond glaze, and set into the tray mounting.

Each one is different and distinctive - peculiar only to itself.
