Hannah Pugh is a UK-based contemporary visual artist, with a background in Fine Art from Falmouth College of Art.
Acclaimed for her unique intuitive ink and bleach paintings, paying tribute to sights she has seen, tales she has heard, places she has felt, and the liminal spaces in between. Her work has been collected, published and exhibited internationally.
‘Employing memory and imagination, I distil, splash, drip, granulate, pierce, paint, spill, draw, scratch, layer and gild onto canvas and paper with differing mixtures of water, inks, bleaches and paints; using most things within reach as receptacles and tools - and then I wait, absorb and respond in turn to build worlds of elsewhere.’
