Solid silver and diamond anniversary pendant with 24ct gold beads.

As most of the best commissions are, this one was filled with layers of sentiment… A lovely customer who had visited me at art fairs with his wife and children wanted me to make a piece of special jewellery for their anniversary. He had originally proposed to his wife in the United States at the iconic Washington Monument, and so wanted this to form the basis of the painting to be mounted in the silver tray. To make it extra luxurious we decided to use a smattering of 24ct gold beads and small diamonds within the granulation embellishing the frame.

I worked in collaboration with my Dad - the gold and silversmith Martyn Pugh (www.martynpugh.co.uk) on this piece, and am very much looking forward to taking the All Is Not Lost art SomeWear Jewellery Collection further - join the Studio Newsletter to be the first to know about the new precious metal jewellery showcase in inimitable alchemical style.
